Last week, the Armitage Jones ESG Working Group visited Paul Rosenberg Vella at REVERT GROUP.
Accompanied by Liz Michael COMPASS we learnt about innovative recycling solutions that support our clients` environmental, social and governance (ESG) goals.
Revert Group`s innovative "waste to product" solutions are inspiring:
♻️ Office chairs repurposed into architectural panels
♻️ Acoustic wall insulation recycled for reuse
♻️ Glazed partitions and timbers transformed into green ceramic tiles
During our site visit, we saw first-hand how Revert Group is recycling materials from strip-out projects into valuable products.
Our team are strongly committed to driving sustainable outcomes and educating our clients on circular economy strategies. Through early collaboration in our projects, we aim to assemble the right teams and implement strategies that divert demolition waste from landfills.

When First Peoples Health and Wellbeing (FPHW) engaged the AJ team late last year, they were dealing with a partially demolished site, a builder in receivership and a looming deadline at their existing premises which they had to vacate.
We knew we had to work fast, so we assembled a trusted group of consultants and contractors to help navigate the tight timeframes.
We’re proud to announce that through dynamic collaborative work, our client’s Treatment Centre in Frankston reached Practical Completion last week, enabling FPHW to start welcoming patients next week.
A massive shout out to the AJ team @bronteevans, Lilian and former AJ team member @davebellio who skillfully guided our client through the development process and ensured the achievement of this incredible end result.

At Armitage Jones we have developed an ‘On-the -job-training’ OTJT schedule for all our PMs and APMs to familiarise themselves with project inspection requirements and site protocols / activities across the stages of our projects. Whether it’s a Progress claim walk, Programme Status or Safety Walk, we encourage all staff to attend site walks across all our projects, as each project has its own unique challenges we can learn from outside our own projects.
Armitage Jones is back at Queen and Collins delivering another innovative project in this iconic building.
The GPT Group has engaged us to deliver a premium office fitout modelled on @BVN Architecture`s creative Clubhouse design.
It`s great to be back in such a beautiful building and we cant wait to see the end result.

Whilst we are very familiar with working on high-rise structures in the commercial office and residential sector, our recent work on the restoration of the spires at St Patrick’s Cathedral provides a different aspect to high-rise work!
We are no strangers to heritage works having previously worked on Charter Hall’s Wesley Place and Nicholas Hall, Queen and Collins for the GPT Group and more recently Batard Restaurant for Lucas Restaurants.
Working with experts @lovellchen, St Patrick’s Cathedral restoration provides the ultimate challenge in heritage works on such a significant Melbourne icon.
We can’t wait to see the results!

We’re incredibly proud to announce the promotion of @katherinestrain to Project Director.
Joining Armitage Jones in 2021, Katherine has quickly and passionately risen to the task of managing the delivery of many iconic addresses in Melbourne, in particular 555 Collins Street. She has been instrumental in terms of driving the success of the 555 Collins project both for the AJ team and our client, Charter Hall.
We really admire her ability to not only manage highly complex projects but create collaborative teams that drive their success.
